Our EuroLeague Fantasy Round 6 tips start with a simple idea: buy production that is still underpriced before it gets expensive. Unlimited transfers open after this round, so team value matters as much as raw points. Our model’s best 100-credit build projects 171.5 points while using only 98.9 credits. It leans on a Real Madrid core against ASVEL and a pair of cheap Virtus players.
Most of that build matches the wider consensus. The interesting part is where it doesn’t.
Our optimal team for EuroLeague Fantasy Round 6 tips
Theo Maledon captains the side. Tomas Satoransky is the sixth man, and Pedro Martinez coaches. The lineup avoids the 15-plus credit tier entirely and still reaches 171.5 projected points.
| Player | Pos | Team | Opp | Credits | Proj | Role |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Theo Maledon | G | RMB | ASV | 11.7 | 20.5 | Captain |
| Tomas Satoransky | G | HTA | PAO | 9.3 | 19.9 | Sixth man |
| Juancho Hernangomez | F | PAO | HTA | 11.2 | 18.6 | Bench |
| Wendell Moore | G | VIR | KBA | 9.9 | 17.4 | Bench |
| Allan Dokossi | C | PBB | CZV | 8.2 | 16.6 | Starter |
| Braxton Key | F | FBT | PAR | 8.9 | 16.4 | Starter |
| Devon Hall | G | MIL | DUB | 9.2 | 15.7 | Starter |
| Aliou Diarra | C | VIR | KBA | 9.0 | 15.4 | Bench |
| Semi Ojeleye | F | CZV | PBB | 8.7 | 13.7 | Bench |
| Alberto Abalde | F | RMB | ASV | 4.5 | 6.9 | Starter |
| Pedro Martinez | HC | RMB | ASV | 8.3 | 15.9 | Coach |
Madrid’s injury list is long. Gabriel Deck, Max Shulga, Sergio Llull, Olivier Sarr and Usman Garuba are all listed out. That is part of why Alberto Abalde works at 4.5 credits. If the rotation stays this thin, his minutes should hold, though that is worth watching rather than assuming.
Hall at 9.2 is the one guard spot where our numbers and outside opinion agree most closely. Some analysts call him Milan’s only consistent guard. We project 15.7.
Captain picks
| Player | Team | Opp | Credits | Proj |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Theo Maledon | RMB | ASV | 11.7 | 20.49 |
| TJ Shorts | VBC | MTA | 15.7 | 19.53 |
| Moses Wright | MIL | DUB | 14.6 | 18.50 |
| Mfiondu Kabengele | DUB | MIL | 14.9 | 18.41 |
| Carlik Jones | PAR | FBT | 14.6 | 17.42 |
Maledon tops the shortlist and costs four credits less than Shorts. That gap is the case for him.
Shorts is the premium alternative. His role trend of 3.8 is among the strongest in the league this week. Wright and Kabengele face each other in a game that some analysts expect to be high scoring. Our projections rate them almost identically, so if you want exposure to that game, either works.
Best bargains
| Player | Team | Credits | Proj | Value |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Tomas Satoransky | HTA | 9.3 | 19.88 | 2.14 |
| Allan Dokossi | PBB | 8.2 | 16.59 | 2.02 |
| Braxton Key | FBT | 8.9 | 16.36 | 1.84 |
| Wendell Moore | VIR | 9.9 | 17.39 | 1.76 |
| Theo Maledon | RMB | 11.7 | 20.49 | 1.75 |
The same five names top our room-to-grow list. Satoransky leads at 8.78 and Maledon follows at 6.93. With a value focus heading into unlimited transfers, these are the players most likely to earn you credits.
Dokossi needs a note. Paris teammates Nadir Hifi is doubtful and Frank Ntilikina is out. That could push more of the load his way, but treat it as a situation to monitor.
Where we disagree with the consensus
Satoransky against Panathinaikos
This is the biggest split. The prevailing view is to fade Hapoel players against Panathinaikos, on the grounds that their defence suppresses opposing key players. Elijah Bryant at 17.2 and Dan Oturu at 13.6 were both flagged as avoids for that reason.
On Oturu we agree completely. We project him at 4.96, which makes him unplayable at his price. But we have Satoransky at 19.88 for 9.3 credits, the best value in the game. Hapoel’s guard list is depleted, with Guy Palatin, Bar Timor, Khadeen Carrington, Tamir Blatt and Tyler Ennis all out. Our model expects him to absorb that usage. Bryant also projects at 20.16, so we would not dismiss him either. He simply costs nearly double.
Coaches priced as afterthoughts
Several budget coaches are getting attention that our numbers don’t support. Alex Mumbru projects 6.13 and Xavi Pascual 5.16. Tomas Masiulis comes in at 9.00 and Ibon Navarro at 9.93. Martinez at 8.3 credits projects 15.85, and Saras Jasikevicius 14.29. Spending a little more at coach is clearly the better trade here.
Budget forwards and guards we pass on
Sterling Brown at 10.3 projects 9.61. Derrick Alston Jr. at 8.7 projects 10.36, and Mbaye Ndiaye at 8.7 projects 9.20. These players are popular because of their matchups, but our numbers don’t see them as value plays. Andres Feliz at 7.2 (10.44) is closer to fair, but Abalde does the enabler job for less.
Avoids we would keep
The reverse case matters too. Devon Dotson is being benched or sold by some managers, yet we project 15.02 at 10.7 credits. Patty Mills, flagged for poor form, projects 15.59 at 12.8. Neither makes our optimal team, but neither is a must-sell either.
Where we agree
We line up with the consensus on Diarra, Moore, Hall, Maledon and Martinez. We also agree on fading Marcus Bingham, who projects 8.91 at 11.2. Kendrick Nunn is out, so Sylvain Francisco gets another round without him. Even so, we have Francisco at 13.65 for 14.8 credits, which is short of a strong buy.
Players to monitor
- Red Star frontcourt: Johnathan Motley is out and Ebuka Izundu is doubtful. If Izundu sits, Ojeleye’s floor could improve.
- Olympiacos guards: Tyler Dorsey is listed out. If that holds, Jean Montero (16.95 projected) may see more of the ball.
- Rising roles: Kobi Simmons (4.7 role trend) and Marius Grigonis at 6.5 credits (4.0) are cheap names whose minutes are trending up.
- Doubtfuls: Yam Madar, Isaac Bonga, Nigel Williams-Goss and Lamar Stevens all carry doubtful tags.
