Wednesday’s FanTeam Shootout on 14 October is a three-game slate with a 74-credit budget, and our EuroLeague DFS picks are built around the two high-scoring games. Paris and Virtus share the biggest total on the board. Hapoel are the heaviest favourites. The Efes game sits well below both, and that gap shapes most of the decisions below.
Games and pace
The game lines list team codes slightly differently from the player pool. HAT is HTA, PSB is PBB, VIB is VIR and EFE is EFS. The numbers are what matter.
| Game | Home odds | Away odds | Home total | Away total | Game total |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| PSB vs VIB | 1.65 | 2.42 | 91.5 | 87.5 | 178.5 |
| HAT vs BJK | 1.33 | 3.70 | 91.5 | 84.5 | 175.5 |
| EFE vs BAY | 1.42 | 3.15 | 85.5 | 79.5 | 164.5 |
Paris against Virtus is the game to build around. It has the highest total at 178.5 and the tightest odds, so both sides should get there. A close game means starters stay on the floor late.
Hapoel share the top team total at 91.5 but are big favourites at 1.33. That adds some blowout risk, though a projected margin of seven points isn’t alarming. The Efes game is the slow one. Bayern’s 79.5 is the lowest team total on the slate.
Top plays
| Player | Pos | Team | Opp | Salary | Proj | Ceiling | Value |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Nadir Hifi | SG | PBB | VIR | 14.2 | 28.3 | 32.0 | 2.0 |
| Elijah Bryant | SG | HTA | BJK | 15.6 | 26.4 | 31.8 | 1.7 |
| Dan Oturu | C | HTA | BJK | 13.2 | 25.3 | 29.6 | 1.9 |
| Marcus Carr | PG | VIR | PBB | 12.8 | 25.1 | 28.4 | 2.0 |
| Vasilije Micic | PG | HTA | BJK | 10.7 | 24.8 | 29.1 | 2.3 |
| Wendell Moore | SG | VIR | PBB | 12.0 | 24.2 | 28.1 | 2.0 |
| Duane Washington | SG | BAY | EFS | 12.5 | 24.0 | 27.9 | 1.9 |
| Scottie Wilbekin | PG | BJK | HTA | 13.0 | 23.5 | 29.2 | 1.8 |
Vasilije Micic is the standout. At 10.7 credits he projects for 24.8 and returns 2.3x, the best value of any player priced above ten. He is the cheapest way into Hapoel’s 91.5-point total and fits every format.
Nadir Hifi leads the slate at 28.3 with a 32.0 ceiling. His 2.0x value is cash-viable, and he plays in the best game. On a slate this small, the top projection in the top game is hard to skip.
The Virtus pair of Marcus Carr and Wendell Moore both hit 2.0x. Virtus are only modest underdogs at 2.42 with an 87.5 team total, so there’s no reason to fear their side of the matchup.
Dan Oturu at 1.9x is a fine pivot at centre. Scottie Wilbekin has a 29.2 ceiling, well above his 23.5 projection, which makes him a tournament option if you expect Besiktas to keep pace. Duane Washington is projected well, but he’s tied to the lowest team total on the board.
Value plays and EuroLeague DFS picks under 10 credits
| Player | Pos | Team | Salary | Proj | Value |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Jacob Toppin | PF | HTA | 6.5 | 17.2 | 2.7 |
| Tyson Etienne | PG | PBB | 7.0 | 18.2 | 2.6 |
| Trent Frazier | PG | VIR | 7.0 | 17.2 | 2.5 |
| Daron Russell | PG | EFS | 5.5 | 14.0 | 2.5 |
| Vasilije Micic | PG | HTA | 10.7 | 24.8 | 2.3 |
| Bo Klintman | PF | VIR | 6.3 | 14.6 | 2.3 |
| Allan Dokossi | C | PBB | 9.4 | 20.8 | 2.2 |
Four players clear the 2.5x tournament mark. Jacob Toppin is the best of them at 2.7x for 6.5 credits, and he comes from the Hapoel side with the joint-highest team total.
Tyson Etienne and Trent Frazier are both 7.0 credits and both sit in the 178.5 game. Either one frees up salary for Hifi without leaving the best environment on the slate.
Daron Russell is the cheapest useful piece at 5.5. He’s in the slow game, but 2.5x at that price is enough to fund a premium elsewhere. Allan Dokossi at 2.2x is a solid cash option at centre.
One combination worth noting: Micic, Toppin and Oturu cost 30.4 credits together and project for 67.3 points. That is a full Hapoel core for well under half the budget.
Fades
| Player | Team | Salary | Proj | Value |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Eugene Omoruyi | BJK | 10.2 | 14.9 | 1.5 |
| Aliou Diarra | VIR | 13.6 | 22.1 | 1.6 |
| Cameron Payne | EFS | 12.1 | 18.9 | 1.6 |
| Elijah Bryant | HTA | 15.6 | 26.4 | 1.7 |
Elijah Bryant is the awkward one. He has the second-highest projection on the slate, but he’s also the most expensive player at 15.6. Micic projects only 1.6 points fewer for 4.9 credits less. Bryant’s 31.8 ceiling keeps him in play for tournaments, but he’s badly priced for cash.
Aliou Diarra is in the best game, yet 13.6 credits for 22.1 points is 1.6x. Dokossi gives you most of that at centre for 9.4. Cameron Payne is overpriced and plays in the lowest-total game. Eugene Omoruyi at 1.5x is the weakest value among the priced-up players.
