This Premier League DFS early look for week 10 comes 67 hours before the first kickoff, Saturday 7 November at 15:00 UTC. Eight matches make up the Fanteam round, with a 118.0 budget and a limit of three players per club. We also have a DraftKings slate for Saturday. FanDuel and Yahoo slates and projections follow when they are released.
The shape of the week is clear. Arsenal against Hull is the most lopsided game on the board, and our projections reflect it. The more interesting work is deciding how far to lean into that game and where else to find points.
Premier League DFS early look week 10: Fanteam captain options
Arsenal are projected to score 2.63 goals against Hull, with an 82.05% win probability and a 55.02% clean sheet chance. Hull’s own projected goals are 0.63. That is why Arsenal players fill the top of the projections: Riccardo Calafiori leads all defenders at 5.19, Gabriel is at 4.95, and Noni Madueke tops the midfielders at 4.81.
Our safe captain list is shorter than you might expect. Among near-certain starters, the highest projections belong to David Raya (4.67), Cole Palmer (4.66) and Morgan Rogers (4.50). Palmer and Rogers both face Sunderland, where Chelsea carry a 47.18% win chance and a 30.14% clean sheet chance. Palmer is on penalties and has a 19.0% chance to score.
Raya is the odd one. A goalkeeper has a lower ceiling than an attacker, and at 12.8 he costs a lot of budget. He is a fine player but a questionable captain, because his 8.04 ceiling sits well below the attackers on this list. Palmer’s ceiling is 10.25.
For a big-swing pick, we like Charalampos Kostoulas of Brighton (3.94 projection, 10.32 ceiling, 27.4% to score), Alexander Isak of Liverpool (3.88, 10.01, 27.5%) and Bruno Guimarães of Arsenal (3.70, 9.11). Guimarães has only a 79% start probability, so he is the riskiest of the three. Erling Haaland (4.70, 36.1% to score, penalties) sits between the two groups. His 11.15 ceiling is the highest of any player in the early data.

Fanteam stacks
The stacks we rate best come from games with a decent goal total and attackers who share the work. Chelsea’s Palmer and Rogers project 9.2 together for 20.5 in salary. Manchester United’s Bruno Fernandes and Bryan Mbeumo also project 9.2 for 21.8. Each pair appears in 6 of our 15 lineups.
Manchester United against Aston Villa is the more open game. United are projected to score 1.74 and concede 1.47, with only a 22.79% clean sheet chance. That makes United attackers more attractive than United defenders. Fernandes takes penalties, corners and free kicks.
Chelsea offer more depth. Estêvão pairs with either Rogers (8.4 projected, 19.5 salary) or Palmer (8.5, 19.4), and both combinations are cheaper than the Brighton pairing of Pascal Gross and Kostoulas, which costs 24.5 for 8.0 projected. Brighton’s stack is the expensive one, but Brighton against Brentford projects 1.85 goals for the home side, so it has an upside case.
One rule to keep in mind with Arsenal. The stacking penalty applies when several goalkeepers or defenders from one team are in the same lineup and all earn clean-sheet points. Raya plus two Arsenal defenders is the kind of build that can trigger it, and the club limit of three also caps how much Arsenal you can fit.
Best stacks, week 10
| Stack | Team | Salary | Proj | In our lineups |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Bruno Fernandes + Bryan Mbeumo | MUN | 21.8 | 9.2 | 6 of 15 |

| Pascal Gross + Charalampos Kostoulas | BHA | 24.5 | 8.0 | 2 of 15 |
Fanteam value by position
Goalkeeper. Raya is the top projection at 4.67, but the next tier is much cheaper. Senne Lammens of Manchester United costs 7.8 for a 3.48 projection and an 8.07 ceiling, the best ceiling among the top six keepers. He features in our best lineup. Djordje Petrovic (9.1, 3.55) and Bart Verbruggen (8.9, 3.43) are the alternatives if you want a stronger clean sheet profile.
Defence. Calafiori and Gabriel are the headline picks at 12.6 and 12.3, and both feature in our best lineup. Jurriën Timber (12.1, 3.80) is only a 69% starter, which makes him harder to trust. For the cheaper slots, Maxim De Cuyper of Brighton (9.1, 3.64, 7.6% to score) and Josko Gvardiol (10.5, 3.63) stand out.
Midfield. This is where the budget is best spent. Palmer (10.2), Rogers (10.3) and Mbeumo (11.0) project 4.66, 4.50 and 4.76. Martin Ødegaard (15.1, 4.70) and Declan Rice (15.3, 4.51) cost around five more for roughly the same output. Harvey Barnes of Newcastle (8.9, 4.10) fits well in the cheaper end.
On points per unit of salary, the leaders are all Hull: Mohamed Belloumi (4.1, 2.91), Regan Slater (3.5, 2.41), Tim Iroegbunam (3.4, 1.99) and Elliot Stroud (3.6, 2.02). We would treat them as enablers rather than targets, since Hull have just a 5.98% win chance. Crystal Palace’s Anan Khalaili (6.1, 3.29) is only a 64% starter.
Forward. Haaland at 13.4 is the clear top forward at 4.70. Kai Havertz (15.5, 4.46) costs more and projects less. At the cheaper end, Brian Brobbey of Sunderland (7.6, 3.71, 27.9% to score) and Igor Thiago of Brentford (8.4, 3.69) offer good salary relief. Oliver McBurnie of Hull is 4.0 for 2.80 and a 10.3% chance to score, which makes him a useful fill-in.
Underdogs and set-piece takers
The best underdog is Barnes. Newcastle have only a 28.16% win chance at Fulham, but he projects 4.10 at 8.9 with a 14.3% chance to score. Brobbey (Sunderland, 26.96% to win) and Thiago (Brentford, 25.74%) both project 3.7 and cost under 8.5. Morgan Gibbs-White of Nottingham Forest costs 7.2 and projects 3.88 at Manchester City, even though Forest have a 21.36% win chance. He takes penalties and free kicks. Johan Manzambi (9.3, 3.37) has the best underdog win probability at 31.15%, but he costs more.
Set-piece duty matters here. Haaland and Palmer take penalties. Fernandes and Dominik Szoboszlai (4.15) take penalties, corners and free kicks. So does Gross (4.06). Rice takes corners and free kicks. Marcus Tavernier of Bournemouth (3.85) takes corners and free kicks, and he is a fair cheaper pick.
DraftKings Premier League DFS: Saturday slate
The DraftKings Classic slate has Arsenal v Hull and Fulham v Newcastle on Saturday 7 Nov. The format is 8 players (1 GK, 2 D, 2 M, 2 F, 1 UTIL) with a $50,000 cap. The tables show 0 for players with less than a 50% chance of starting. Value here is projected points per $1,000 of salary.
Arsenal take most of the slate. Kai Havertz leads at $9,100 with a 10.16 projection and a 13.72 ceiling. Noni Madueke ($7,900, 8.78), David Raya ($5,900, 8.66), Martin Odegaard ($7,000, 8.51) and Declan Rice ($7,200, 8.47) follow. Christos Tzolis is the standout at $5,200 with an 8.02 projection and a 1.54 value, though he is a 79% starter.
For the cheapest value, Shea Charles of Fulham is $3,500 for 5.72 (1.63 value). Riccardo Calafiori ($4,300, 6.22) and Gabriel ($4,000, 5.43) give you two Arsenal defenders for $8,300 between them. Raya, Calafiori and Gabriel together cost $14,200, which leaves $35,800 across the other five spots. Elliot Stroud of Hull ($4,000, 5.42) is another cheap option.
There are two ways to take on the slate: go heavy on Arsenal, or spend the leftover budget on a player like Alex Iwobi of Fulham ($7,800, 7.32). Harvey Barnes ($9,700, 6.80) is the weakest value among the top names at 0.70, so we would pass at that price. Mohamed Belloumi of Hull ($6,100, 7.86, value 1.29) is a contrarian option.

FanDuel Premier League DFS: how to build a lineup
A FanDuel soccer lineup has 7 players: 1 goalkeeper, 2 defenders and 4 forwards or midfielders, within a salary cap of 100 and with at most 4 players from the same team. Goals, assists and shots on target score the most, and goalkeepers and defenders earn points from clean sheets. Four of the seven spots go to forwards and midfielders, so the main decision is how to spread the salary between them and the back line.
Our FanDuel projections for the Saturday and Sunday main slates will be posted on our Premier League DFS projections page as soon as FanDuel releases the slate.
Yahoo Premier League DFS: how to build a lineup
A Yahoo soccer lineup has 11 players: 1 goalkeeper, 3 defenders, 4 midfielders, 2 forwards and 1 UTIL spot, within a salary cap of 200 and with at most 6 players from the same team. Goals and assists carry the most points, and goalkeepers and defenders earn points from clean sheets. With 11 spots to fill, the lineup rewards balance: a few premium attackers, with the rest of the salary spread across solid starters.
Our Yahoo projections for the Saturday and Sunday main slates will be posted on our Premier League DFS projections page as soon as Yahoo releases the slate.
Who to watch before lock
Two names carry real doubts. Timber of Arsenal is listed as possible, with a 69% start probability. If he does not start in Fanteam, the closest-priced cheaper teammate in the same position who does start takes his place, but check the news before relying on that. Jordan Henderson of Chelsea (3.78 projection) carries an illness note with a 75% chance of playing.
Guimarães and Tzolis are both at 79%, and Khalaili is at 64%. Most other key players sit at 84%, so late team news will move things.
