Round 10 is about the injury report. Real Madrid, Efes, Olympiacos and Baskonia are all missing several players, and those absences are creating value lower down the price list. Our EuroLeague Fantasy Round 10 tips start with a 147.1-point optimal lineup built for 99.6 credits. Below we explain where it agrees with the wider conversation and where it clearly does not.
Real Madrid are missing Campazzo, Maledon, Llull, Garuba, Sarr, Deck and Jantunen, and Shulga is doubtful. They open the round at home to Panathinaikos in turn one. That one game holds most of our captaincy decision and two of our starters.
Our optimal team for EuroLeague Fantasy Round 10 tips
This is the highest-projected squad that fits under the 100-credit cap. It leaves 0.4 credits unspent.
| Player | Pos | Team | Opp | Turn | Credits | Proj | Role |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Sasha Vezenkov | F | OLY | CZV | 3 | 18.6 | 19.9 | Starter |
| Collin Malcolm | F | EFS | PBB | 2 | 9.4 | 17.7 | Starter |
| Walter Tavares | C | RMB | PAO | 1 | 15.2 | 17.6 | Captain |
| Andres Feliz | G | RMB | PAO | 1 | 8.5 | 14.4 | Starter |
| Jordan Loyd | G | EFS | PBB | 2 | 9.7 | 13.5 | Starter |
| Aliou Diarra | C | VIR | DUB | 3 | 10.0 | 14.8 | Sixth man |
| Stefan Joksimovic | F | KBA | FBT | 2 | 4.3 | 8.6 | Bench |
| Cory Joseph | G | OLY | CZV | 3 | 5.4 | 7.9 | Bench |
| Clement Frisch | F | KBA | FBT | 2 | 5.0 | 7.6 | Bench |
| Josep Puerto | G | VBC | MIL | 2 | 5.2 | 7.5 | Bench |
| Saras Jasikevicius | HC | FBT | KBA | 2 | 8.3 | 15.9 | Coach |
The squad has a clear structure: one true premium in Vezenkov, a premium centre in Tavares, and then players whose role has grown because teammates are out. Malcolm and Loyd benefit from Efes losing Mike James and Cordinier. The two Baskonia bench pieces, Joksimovic and Frisch, are cheap because the Baskonia forward line is thin, with Souza, Kurucs and Sedekerskis all out.
Jasikevicius is the easiest decision on the board. His 15.9 projection is far ahead of the next-best coach.
| Coach | Team | Credits | Proj |
|---|---|---|---|
| Saras Jasikevicius | FBT | 8.3 | 15.85 |
| Georgios Bartzokas | OLY | 9.9 | 9.0 |
| Pablo Laso | EFS | 6.2 | 8.05 |
Captain picks
All five of our top captain options come from the turn-one game between Real Madrid and Panathinaikos.
| Player | Team | Opp | Credits | Proj |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Mathias Lessort | PAO | RMB | 16.1 | 17.64 |
| Walter Tavares | RMB | PAO | 15.2 | 17.64 |
| Andres Feliz | RMB | PAO | 8.5 | 14.37 |
| Kendrick Nunn | PAO | RMB | 14.0 | 14.14 |
| Guerschon Yabusele | PAO | RMB | 12.8 | 12.64 |
Lessort and Tavares are effectively tied on projection. Tavares costs 0.9 credits less, and that gap is what lets the rest of the optimal team fit. Lessort is a perfectly sound captain if your squad has room for him.
Best bargains and rising prices
| Player | Team | Credits | Proj | Value |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Stefan Joksimovic | KBA | 4.3 | 8.56 | 1.99 |
| Collin Malcolm | EFS | 9.4 | 17.7 | 1.88 |
| Andres Feliz | RMB | 8.5 | 14.37 | 1.69 |
| Kevarrius Hayes | PAR | 8.4 | 13.26 | 1.58 |
| Aliou Diarra | VIR | 10.0 | 14.79 | 1.48 |
Malcolm is the standout. He also leads our rising-price list with 6.69 room to grow, and Feliz is second at 4.56. Buying both now should protect team value as well as score points. The wider consensus agrees here: Malcolm is widely seen as the best value of recent rounds, with about 30 minutes, no one competing for his position and a soft schedule.
Hayes is the one bargain who did not make our final eleven. He is still a clean, cheap centre for Partizan’s home run. One thing to monitor: if Jekiri returns from his absence, Hayes’s role could shrink.
Where we disagree with the consensus
This is where the round gets interesting.
Tavares as captain
Some analysts doubt Tavares. Their argument is that without Maledon and Campazzo, nobody is left to feed him the ball, he cannot create his own offence, and he picks up fouls. That concern is fair. Our projection still has him at 17.64, level with Lessort. Short-handed rotations usually push more possessions inside, not fewer. We are keeping the armband on him, but this is a closer call than the table suggests.
Jordan Loyd
Loyd hardly comes up in the wider conversation. Most Efes interest is in Malcolm, Strazel, Payne and Bruno Fernando. We project Loyd at 13.5 for 9.7 credits against Paris, which is better value than Strazel’s 13.98 at 10.6 or Payne’s 12.75 at 9.5. He is a quiet differential, and we like that.
The Real Madrid supporting cast
Abalde is being called a must-have turn-one pick, and Luwawu-Cabarrot tops our own rising-role list at 7.2. Our point projections are less excited. Abalde comes in at 7.28 for 5.4 credits. Luwawu-Cabarrot is at 7.49 for 9.6, which is poor value at that price. More minutes do not always mean more output, especially from a player whose form has been unreliable all season. Feliz is the Real guard we trust most.
Lonnie Walker IV
Walker is one of the most-backed names of the round after his big game. We have him at 13.21 for 11.4 credits. That is fine, but it does not justify the attention he is getting. There are also reports of an ankle issue after he missed a domestic game. Treat that as a risk to monitor, not a confirmed absence.
Kendrick Nunn
The consensus has cooled on Nunn, and it leans negative. Our 14.14 projection keeps him in the captaincy conversation for turn one. We would not sell him in a panic.
The premiums we left out
Valanciunas (19.11 at 16.6) and TJ Shorts (18.63 at 16.7) are both widely backed, and we rate both highly. They miss the optimal eleven because of how the budget fits together, not because we doubt them. If you already own either one, keep him.
Cory Joseph and Diarra
Joseph divides opinion because of the expected minutes for Miller-McIntyre. At 5.4 credits on the bench, though, his 7.9 projection does the job. For Diarra, the rumours linking him to Panathinaikos and his first domestic rest are things to watch. Our 14.8 projection assumes he plays his normal role.
FAQ
Who should I captain in Round 10?
Tavares or Lessort. Both project at 17.64 in the turn-one Real Madrid versus Panathinaikos game. Tavares is cheaper and fits our optimal build.
Is Collin Malcolm worth buying?
Yes. He projects at 17.7 for 9.4 credits and has the largest room to grow in price on our board.
Which coach should I pick?
Jasikevicius. His 15.85 projection is far ahead of Bartzokas and Laso.
This round is unusually sensitive to late changes. Real Madrid’s guard list, Dotson at Besiktas, Juzang and Powell at Fenerbahce, and Konchar and Dunston at Olympiacos are all doubtful. Check the latest injury news before the round locks.
