Six games make up the FanTeam Friday Shootout on 2 October. Our EuroLeague DFS picks start with one guard who stands out at his price and a cluster of cheap forwards who make the 79-credit budget easy to manage. The slate has one clear shootout and one lopsided spread, and a single team whose pricing creates both a top play and most of our fades.
Games and pace
LAB vs EAM is the game to target. Its 177.5 total is the highest on the slate, and both teams are implied for 89.5 points. With the odds at 2.0 and 1.95 it is close to a coin flip, so there is little risk of starters sitting late in a blowout.
PAO vs MAC is the other end of the spectrum. PAO are 1.17 favourites with a 91.5 team total, the biggest on the board. That is good for PAO’s role players, but a margin that wide puts some minutes risk on the stars.
BJK vs BAR (173.5) and ASV vs VAL (172.5) both sit comfortably above average. VAL are 1.57 road favourites implied for 88.5. FNB vs DBC has the lowest total at 165.5, and BAY vs PAR is not far ahead at 167.5.
Top EuroLeague DFS picks for the Friday Shootout
| Player | Pos | Team | Opp | Salary | Proj | Ceiling | Value |

| Sylvain Francisco | PG | PAO | MAC | 15.2 | 28.9 | 33.1 | 1.9 |
| Wade Baldwin | PG | FNB | DBC | 12.8 | 28.5 | 31.0 | 2.2 |
| Moses Wright | C | EAM | LAB | 11.4 | 28.1 | 34.6 | 2.5 |
| Carlik Jones | PG | PAR | BAY | 14.0 | 27.7 | 34.1 | 2.0 |
| Mathias Lessort | C | PAO | MAC | 11.2 | 26.3 | 29.2 | 2.3 |
| Dwayne Bacon | SF | DBC | FNB | 13.0 | 26.2 | 33.2 | 2.0 |
| Jae Crowder | SF | ASV | VAL | 7.4 | 25.4 | 26.7 | 3.4 |
T.J. Shorts is the anchor
Shorts has the highest projection on the slate at 31.3 and costs only 10.5. A 3.0x value from the top scorer is rare. He also carries the biggest ceiling at 39.7, and he plays for a favoured team with an 88.5 implied total. He belongs in cash and tournament lineups.
Moses Wright fits the best game
Wright projects 28.1 at 11.4, right on the 2.5x tournament line, with a 34.6 ceiling. He is the highest-projected player in LAB vs EAM, and a close game with a high total is the right setting for a big man to run up numbers.
Francisco and the expensive guards
Francisco is the most expensive player in the pool at 15.2. His 28.9 projection only works out to 1.9x, and PAO’s huge spread adds blowout risk. Spending up on him is reasonable in tournaments, but in cash Shorts gives more points for 4.7 fewer credits. Baldwin (2.2x) is the safer premium guard. Carlik Jones and Dwayne Bacon both sit at 2.0x with ceilings above 33, so they are better as tournament pivots than cash locks.
Lessort and Crowder
Lessort is a cleaner way into PAO’s 91.5 total than Francisco. He returns 2.3x at 11.2. Crowder is the standout among the mid-priced players: 25.4 projected at 7.4 for 3.4x. Pairing him with Shorts costs 17.9 credits for 56.7 projected points, and it stacks both sides of a 172.5 total.
Value plays
| Player | Pos | Team | Salary | Proj | Value |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Jason Burnell | PF | EAM | 4.5 | 19.4 | 4.3 |
| Konstantinos Mitoglou | PF | PAO | 5.5 | 21.0 | 3.8 |
| Yam Madar | PG | MAC | 6.3 | 22.5 | 3.6 |
| Anthony Brown | SF | BJK | 5.3 | 18.4 | 3.5 |
| Panagiotis Kalaitzakis | SF | PAO | 4.6 | 16.2 | 3.5 |
| Jae Crowder | SF | ASV | 7.4 | 25.4 | 3.4 |
| DJ Stewart | SF | LAB | 5.4 | 18.2 | 3.4 |
Burnell is the best value on the slate at 4.3x. He costs 4.5 and plays in the highest-total game. Pairing him with Wright gives you two pieces of EAM in that game for under 16 credits.
Mitoglou and Kalaitzakis are the cheap way to use PAO’s team total. If the game gets out of hand, role players often pick up the extra minutes, which helps them more than it helps the stars.
Madar is the other side of that game. At 6.3 he projects 22.5 for MAC, an underdog at 5.9, so expect him to handle a lot of the ball. Brown (BJK) and Stewart (LAB) are both at 3.4x or better and give you cheap exposure to the two highest-total games.
Fades
| Player | Team | Salary | Proj | Value |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Shane Larkin | FNB | 10.8 | 4.9 | 0.5 |
| Trent Forrest | FNB | 11.8 | 13.1 | 1.1 |
| Mamadi Diakite | DBC | 10.9 | 13.2 | 1.2 |
| Will Clyburn | FNB | 12.6 | 16.2 | 1.3 |
Three of the four fades play for FNB, in the slate’s lowest-total game. Our projections give most of FNB’s fantasy production to Baldwin, so Larkin, Forrest and Clyburn are badly priced tonight rather than bad players. Larkin’s 4.9 projection at 10.8 is the worst return in the pool. Diakite is in the same game, and 13.2 points at 10.9 is not enough. All four cost more than Shorts, and none of them comes close to his output.
FAQ

Which game should I stack?
LAB vs EAM. Its 177.5 total is the highest on the slate, the odds are almost even, and it offers Moses Wright, Jason Burnell and DJ Stewart at different price points.
