EuroLeague DFS Picks 6 November: Top Plays, Value & Fades

Four games make up the Friday Shootout on FanTeam, and the budget is 76 credits. Our EuroLeague DFS picks for 6 November lean on the two biggest home favourites, Olympiacos and Partizan, and on a Dubai side that carries the highest team total on the slate.

Below are the top projected plays, the best value per credit, and the players we think are badly priced tonight.

EuroLeague DFS picks: top plays for Friday

Carlik Jones of Partizan leads the projections at 29.4 points for 14.3 credits. That is a 2.1x return, which is acceptable for cash games, and his ceiling of 33.8 is the highest on the board. Partizan are 1.47 favourites with a team total of 89.5, the second highest of the night.

Olympiacos supply two of the next three names. Sasha Vezenkov projects at 28.2 but costs 15.3, so his value is only 1.8x. Codi Miller-McIntyre is the better buy at 11.7 credits for 26.1 points (2.2x). Olympiacos are 1.44 favourites, the shortest price on the slate.

Player Pos Team Opp Salary Proj Ceiling Value
Carlik Jones PG Partizan Maccabi 14.3 29.4 33.8 2.1
Sasha Vezenkov PF Olympiacos Red Star 15.3 28.2 32.5 1.8
Codi Miller-McIntyre PG Olympiacos Red Star 11.7 26.1 31.3 2.2
Mfiondu Kabengele C Dubai Virtus 14.7 25.8 30.4 1.8
McKinley Wright IV PG Dubai Virtus 11.5 25.2 29.8 2.2
Yam Madar PG Maccabi Partizan 10.3 24.8 33.0 2.4
Dwayne Bacon SF Dubai Virtus 14.5 24.8 31.0 1.7
Marcus Carr PG Virtus Dubai 13.4 24.0 26.4 1.8

Madar stands out in this group. Maccabi are 2.95 underdogs with a team total of 83.5, yet he projects at 24.8 for just 10.3 credits. His ceiling of 33.0 is within a point of Jones’s, at a saving of four credits. That makes him a good fit for both cash and tournaments.

Wright is the best Dubai route. He returns 2.2x, while Kabengele and Bacon sit at 1.8x and 1.7x. Marcus Carr’s ceiling of 26.4 is only 2.4 points above his projection, so he suits cash more than tournaments.

Value plays

Cory Joseph is the cheapest strong option. At 4.9 credits he projects at 13.4 points, a 2.7x return that clears the tournament threshold of 2.5x. Pairing him with Miller-McIntyre costs 16.6 credits for 39.5 projected points, both from the heavy favourite.

Partizan offer the deepest value. Nikola Tanaskovic (6.0 credits, 14.8 points) and Ethan Thompson (7.5 credits, 18.0 points) both sit at 2.4x or better. Luca Vildoza is pricier at 9.7 but still returns 2.3x on 22.3 projected points.

Player Pos Team Salary Proj Value
Cory Joseph SG Olympiacos 4.9 13.4 2.7
Nikola Tanaskovic PF Partizan 6.0 14.8 2.5
Yam Madar PG Maccabi 10.3 24.8 2.4
Ethan Thompson SG Partizan 7.5 18.0 2.4
Trent Frazier PG Virtus 7.0 16.8 2.4
Rasheed Bello PG Virtus 5.1 12.3 2.4
Luca Vildoza SG Partizan 9.7 22.3 2.3

Virtus are 2.62 underdogs, but Trent Frazier and Rasheed Bello still return 2.4x each, and the team total of 86.5 is solid. Both give you a way to save salary for the stars.

Fades: badly priced tonight

None of these players is bad. They are simply priced above what our projections support.

Player Team Salary Proj Value
Dzanan Musa Dubai 10.9 15.3 1.4
Aliou Diarra Virtus 13.2 21.0 1.6
Jared Butler Red Star 10.0 16.1 1.6
Dwayne Bacon Dubai 14.5 24.8 1.7

Musa is the clearest case. He costs 10.9 credits for 15.3 points, only 1.4x, while Wright costs 0.6 credits more and projects ten points higher. Diarra at 13.2 credits is also hard to justify.

Bacon is the awkward one. His 24.8 projection and 31.0 ceiling are fine, but at 14.5 credits the price leaves little room. Wright offers almost the same output for three credits less. Butler of Red Star is a fade partly because Red Star are 3.05 underdogs with the lowest team total on the slate, 80.5.

Games and pace

  • Virtus vs Dubai: the highest total at 176.5. Dubai are 1.57 favourites with a team total of 90.5, the highest of the night. Virtus are at 86.5.
  • Besiktas vs Zalgiris: a total of 174.5 and the closest game on the slate (2.05 against 1.90). Neither side appears in our top or value lists, so we see little edge here.
  • Partizan vs Maccabi: a total of 171.5, with Partizan at 89.5 and Maccabi at 83.5. This is the best spot for a mini-stack.
  • Olympiacos vs Red Star: the lowest total at 167.5, but a clear gap in team totals (86.5 to 80.5). Olympiacos are the safest team to back, with their points concentrated in Vezenkov, Miller-McIntyre and Joseph.
