Our EuroLeague Fantasy Round 7 tips start with a team that spends every credit. The optimal 100-credit build projects to 151.9 points, with Elijah Bryant as captain, two Valencia pieces for the third turn and a Real Madrid guard who still looks cheap for what he produces. The market agrees with us on several names. It disagrees on a few that matter.
Our optimal team for EuroLeague Fantasy Round 7 tips
This is the lineup our model rates highest at exactly 100.0 credits.
| Player | Pos | Team | Opp | Turn | Credits | Proj | Role |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| TJ Shorts | G | VBC | PBB | 3 | 15.5 | 21.2 | Sixth man |
| Elijah Bryant | G | HTA | VIR | 1 | 17.4 | 21.1 | Captain |
| Theo Maledon | G | RMB | MTA | 2 | 12.3 | 19.2 | Starter |
| Nikola Mirotic | F | VBC | PBB | 3 | 12.5 | 18.0 | Starter |
| Aliou Diarra | C | VIR | HTA | 1 | 9.3 | 13.4 | Starter |
| Hugo Besson | G | ASV | ZAL | 3 | 9.5 | 12.2 | Starter |
| Clement Frisch | F | KBA | PAO | 2 | 4.8 | 6.7 | Bench |
| Arijan Lakic | F | PAR | CZV | 2 | 4.0 | 6.7 | Bench |
| Alberto Abalde | F | RMB | MTA | 2 | 4.4 | 6.6 | Bench |
| Ousmane Diop | C | MIL | BAR | 2 | 4.0 | 4.5 | Bench |
| Tomas Masiulis | HC | ZAL | ASV | 3 | 6.3 | 13.5 | Coach |
The shape is a stars-and-scrubs build. Four players cost 57.7 credits combined and account for most of the projected output. The bench is four near-minimum options, which is what lets Bryant and Shorts sit in the same lineup.
Turn coverage is sensible. Bryant and Diarra play in the same first-turn game, Maledon and the cheap bench play on turn two, and Shorts, Mirotic, Besson and the coach close out turn three. If something goes wrong early, you have options late.
Clement Frisch is worth a note. He appears on our rising-role list with a trend score of 4.5, so his 4.8-credit price may not last long.
Captain picks
Our captain shortlist is built entirely from the Hapoel Tel Aviv against Virtus game, which suits a turn-one armband.
| Player | Team | Opp | Credits | Proj |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Elijah Bryant | HTA | VIR | 17.4 | 21.08 |
| Zach Leday | HTA | VIR | 13.5 | 13.5 |
| Aliou Diarra | VIR | HTA | 9.3 | 13.36 |
| Marcus Carr | VIR | HTA | 11.1 | 11.97 |
| Wendell Moore | VIR | HTA | 9.9 | 11.27 |
Bryant is the clear call. The gap between him and the next option is more than seven projected points. Some analysts flag that the Virtus game may be tougher than it looks, which is fair, but a seven-point cushion absorbs a lot of matchup risk.
Shorts projects slightly higher than Bryant at 21.2, but he plays on turn three. Captaining early keeps your flexibility if Bryant disappoints.
Best bargains
Value here is projected points per credit.
| Player | Team | Credits | Proj | Value |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Theo Maledon | RMB | 12.3 | 19.22 | 1.56 |
| Nikola Mirotic | VBC | 12.5 | 18.0 | 1.44 |
| Aliou Diarra | VIR | 9.3 | 13.36 | 1.44 |
| TJ Shorts | VBC | 15.5 | 21.16 | 1.37 |
| Semi Ojeleye | CZV | 8.7 | 11.57 | 1.33 |
Maledon is the standout. He also tops our rising-price list with 5.18 of room to grow, the largest margin on the board. Real Madrid are without Gabriel Deck, Sergio Llull, Max Shulga, Usman Garuba and Olivier Sarr, which may concentrate minutes further among the healthy guards. That is a possibility to watch, not a guarantee.
Semi Ojeleye is the only name here not in the optimal team. At 8.7 credits he is a strong pivot if you want to move off Besson or reshuffle the frontcourt.
Coach options
| Coach | Team | Credits | Proj |
|---|---|---|---|
| Zeljko Obradovic | PAO | 11.1 | 17.29 |
| Tomas Masiulis | ZAL | 6.3 | 13.47 |
| Dimitris Itoudis | HTA | 8.2 | 10.85 |
Obradovic projects highest, but Masiulis saves 4.8 credits for a drop of under four points. In a build this tight, that saving is what funds the premium guards. If you can find the money elsewhere, Obradovic is the upgrade.
Where we disagree with the consensus
Vezenkov as captain
Sasha Vezenkov is a popular turn-three captain among the analysts we cross-checked. He does not make our captain shortlist or our optimal team. The concern raised elsewhere, that Olympiacos’s opponent tends to load up its defence on him, is the same reason we are content to look elsewhere. With Evan Fournier and several Olympiacos guards out, his usage case is real. We just prefer Bryant’s floor and Shorts’s price.
Andres Feliz
Feliz was the most universally backed budget guard in the research, praised for a string of big scores. Our model is cooler. He misses our bargain list and the optimal team, where Maledon takes the Real Madrid guard slot. The worry some analysts voiced about heavy combined ownership of Maledon and Feliz supports owning just one. We would pick Maledon.
Hugo Besson
The research leaned against Besson, citing falling minutes and recent scores below his price. We start him at 9.5 credits for a 12.2 projection. This is a genuine split. If his minutes keep sliding, Ojeleye is the natural swap.
Mirotic’s minutes
Some analysts argue Mirotic rarely scores below his value but worry about limited minutes. We see 18.0 projected points at 12.5 credits and a rising-price margin of 3.86. The minutes risk is noted. The value is too strong to pass up.
Diarra’s role
Everyone agrees on Diarra’s value. Where we would add caution is the falling minutes and crowded frontcourt flagged elsewhere. Our projection still rates him at 1.44 value, but watch his rotation closely.
Tyson Etienne and Nadir Hifi
Etienne was heavily backed as a beneficiary of Hifi’s absence. Hifi is listed as out in our data, which strengthens that case. Etienne still does not crack our optimal team, where Paris’s matchup with Valencia looks more useful from the Valencia side.
Injury watch
Our data lists Mike James, Evan Fournier, Nadir Hifi, Frank Ntilikina, Gabriel Deck and Sergio Llull among those out. Klemen Prepelic, Dzanan Musa, Justin Anderson, Juhann Begarin and Derek Willis are doubtful.
A few situations raised elsewhere are not confirmed in our data and should be treated as things to monitor: Mathias Lessort’s fitness, Kendrick Nunn’s return timeline, and Jean Montero’s availability. Any change could reshape Panathinaikos and Olympiacos minutes.
FAQ
Who should I captain in Round 7?
Elijah Bryant. He projects 21.08 points against Virtus on turn one, more than seven points clear of our next captain option.
Is Theo Maledon still worth buying?
Yes. He has the best value score on our board at 1.56 and the most room to grow in price at 5.18.
Obradovic or Masiulis at coach?
Obradovic projects more, but Masiulis saves 4.8 credits. In our optimal build, that saving is what makes the premium guards affordable.
Check the latest injury news before the round locks. Several rotations are unsettled, and a late scratch can change which of these picks makes sense.
